The SAVVE procedure with VenoValve

The only FDA-approved surgical treatment for patients suffering from deep venous CVI

Introducing VenoValve

The VenoValve is a replacement valve for deep veins in your leg whose valves are damaged. VenoValve helps blood flow in the right direction, up towards your heart. It is made with tissue from pigs and other materials used in medical implants.

Living with CVI

CVI affects up to 3.5 million people in the United States alone, while nearly 1.5 million of those diagnosed with severe CVI.

Risk factors for severe CVI– which is a debilitating disease– include venous valve dysfunction, deep vein thromboses or post-thrombotic syndrome, obesity, lack of exercise and smoking.

Is the SAVVE procedure with VenoValve right for you?

The VenoValve is the only FDA-approved replacement venous valve for severe deep venous CVI.

In the SAVVE procedure, this valve is surgically implanted in the femoral vein (a large vein in the upper leg) to restore proper blood flow to the heart and lungs and relieve symptoms resulting from damaged valves.

How to Speak to your Doctor About CVI

To effectively discuss Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) with your doctor, be prepared to describe your symptoms, especially any pain, swelling or skin changes in your legs.

Share any relevant medical history and be open to questions about your lifestyle and family history. Your doctor may reccomend a physical exam and imaging tests like a duplex ultrasound to assess blood flow and vein structure.

This is provided for informational purposes only. For medical advice or diagnosis, consult your physician or a medial professional.

"I'd forgotten what it felt like to live without pain."

Sam was diagnosed with severe CVI after years of dealing with painful leg ulcers and constant fatigue. They tried compression therapy and medication, but nothing truly eased the discomfort. Sam’s doctor recommended VenoValve as a potential solution. Since the procedure, Sam has noticed a significant decrease in swelling and has been able to get back to gardening– something they thought they’d never do again.

“I’m rediscovering the little joys– like walking to the park without stopping every few minutes.”
